The Truth About Your Comfort Zone

The Truth About Your Comfort Zone

You’ve heard it a million times.  You’ve got to get out of your comfort zone for you to be able to truly experience living.  Getting out of your “rut” is the answer to the problems complacency presents... Like depression, feeling empty, or having no inspiration. It’s true!  That’s why you must strive to let go of any attachments to your beliefs or expectations about yourself and your life, in order to move past your fear of being wrong into true enlightenment. Attained only through achieving an unbiased perspective, untainted by the false truths that you have learned throughout life. But first, let’s talk about why leaving the comfort zone is so hard...

Origin

My process is effective because it starts with addressing the root cause, rather than dwelling on the symptoms. Diving into the origin of the beliefs that keep you in stagnancy, to help you understand how you became too afraid of the possibility of failure to move forward out of your comfort zone and into the unknown of life, so that you may be truly happy and fulfilled. This is key because your brain subconsciously calculates things outside of your comfort zone as a risk to your survival, and not worth the risk. This is the innate human instinct that you must rise about, in order to find peace and purpose in your day to day life.  It's the things that you don’t feel comfortable doing that are actually what you need to do in order to find fulfillment in your life.  Survival is the lowest, most basic level of living you can achieve.  It’s only better than dying.  Letting go of what you know, what you have and what you expect out of life, others, and yourself is one of the hardest things to do because your subconscious wiring tells you to survive at all costs.

Here are some questions:

What would you die for?

What is worth sacrificing your life for?

What would you be willing to sacrifice everything for?

What is worth sacrificing to keep the life you have?

When you’re motivated by the fear of death, you’re trapped in a never-ending loop of surviving instead of living, you won’t let go of anything because everything is done to prove that you’re worthy of life. The moment you give up this need to survive, you no longer have to worry—you no longer have to hold onto things, people, a mediocre life, because you finally realize that this life and the threat of death is the ultimate test. Are you going to adhere to the most primitive self that fears death, trapped in stagnation, slowly fading away into ignorance, or are you going to believe in something more?

Symbolic Actions

Every action, every word scrutinized in order for you to survive, when really, you weren’t ever meant to survive. You were meant to suffer, meant to have weaknesses so that you can learn, grow and thrive. The one thing that requires you to sacrifice your physical life, is what makes it possible for you to gain your spiritual life. The key to letting go is simply believing in something more and believing that you deserve to be apart of it. You are God and God, is you? You are a part of love and love is apart of you. Understand, embrace and take action. Step outside of the known and experience the truth of your purpose.

This life is yours and no one else’s—so, let go.
